Module 265: Producing digital photographs

In this module, students create a portfolio documenting all the steps involved in producing their own photographs. This includes planning using a mood board, creating a lighting sketch, planning resources and risks, and producing a Gantt chart.

In practice, digital images are captured in RAW quality, edited, and described with metadata. The work is complemented by a theoretical reference to the module, self-critical reflection and complete source references. Students submit a neatly structured project folder containing all original and working files, as well as designed PDF documentation.

As my topic I decided to do macrophotography of a choice of fruits. While eating a dragon fruit, I was fascniated by the structure inside of it and wanted to capture and document this beauty in this project.
